About Us
Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Medical Sciences & Welfare Society, Ratia (Estd.2005) is a charitable organization situated at village Aherwan. The geocordinate of the village are Latitude 29.6076181 and Longitude 75.543911100001 and it is 13.4 km away from Fatehabad and 6Km from Ratia. The Society is committed to the cause of providing and promoting higher education in multifarious disciplines of Humanities, Science and Education to the populace of Fatehabad district and surrounding areas. Motivated by the noble desire of equipping the educated youth of the region professionally and activated by the societal needs of the future.
The Society runs SBDS School of Nursing (GNM) , M.P.H.W (female), SBDS college of Nursing (B.Sc and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing) and the fifth one the latest feather in the cap of SBDS Society is the SBDS college of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (providing two year VLDD diploma).

Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Medical Sciences & Welfare Society, Ratia was established in 2005 for the welfare of society. We began with a focus on Nursingcourses, then expanded our range of programs to Education and Veterinary and Animal Sciences. We offer various diploma and degree programs leading toundergraduate and graduate programs.
In future we envision to offer a variety of programs in order to meet the global needs of changing society. As an initiative, we are seeking to collaborate with interested global partners across the world in order to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competences of our current and future students through pathways programs. We invite interests from the global partners who can offer 1+1, 2+2 pathways programs in the domains of community services, health sciences, information systems, and creative arts.

Our Updates
We are proud to announce that Shaheed Baba Deep Singh College of Nursing has continuously engaged in producing qualified professionals in Nursing. We have produced 2162 qualified professionals, which include nurses, general nursing and midwifery, and auxiliary nursing midwifery. As well we trained 345 students in Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing programs. Similarly, Shaheed Baba Deep Singh College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences contributed to prepare 100 qualified professionals.
We feel proud to announce that some of our Nursing students are working as Registered Nurses in USA, Canada, and Australia and many of our qualified RN students moved to USA, Canada, England, Australia, and New Zealand. A sizable number of our students are hired by the Haryana State Government as RN for different locations of the state. Our College of Nursing has a reputation of being one of the highly successful colleges in the state. This college has given seven 1st rank holder, four 2nd rank holder, and two 3rd rank holders in the university throughout years.
